Location: Salford, Manchester
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (This will change after the first 4 - 6 weeks as they will go onto the shift pattern. Shift pattern is as follows; Day 1, 7am - 7pm / Day 2, 7am - 7pm / Day 3, 7pm - 7am / Day 4, 7pm - 7am / Day 5, off / Day 6, off / Day 7, off / Day 8, off.)
Pay Rate: Up to £21.22 PH
General Overview: We have an opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a site in Salford, Manchester.
- A sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential.
- Experience of working on Commercial Hot and Cold-water Systems is essential.
- Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Plumbing/Mechanical skill area required or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry.
- Sound awareness of risk assessment & working safely with equipment.
- Complete all statutory and non-statutory maintenance in accordance with set maintenance schedules and contract SLAs.
- Complete reactive works in line with contract SLAs.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including ISO 9001 & 14,001.
- Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/skill.
