M&E Design Manager

MEP Design Manager / London / £70,000 – £75,000 We are currently recruiting for a MEP Design Manager to join a leading engineering, infrastructure and building contractor based from their London office. This position provides technical support to the pre-construction and operations teams. Responsibility for producing technical tender detail and for the development, review and management of day-to-day engineering services across a range of sectors including health, education, water and defence. The successful candidate will ideally have: Experience of working for an MEP Engineering company both preconstruction and delivery is desirable. Experience writing technical answers for MEP bids Recognised Building Industry Accreditation & have a good knowledge of Industry Legislation IT skills to an advanced level, including BIM experience and associated design packages Strong MEP technical design solutions & engineering background, with experience of customer management Well-developed design management, bid, commercial and project management skills Good understanding and knowledge of design / quality systems and environmental procedures The ability to self-manage a project (incl. designers) to a tight deadline This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP Design Manager to progress their career working in a pivotal role for an established contractor.
