Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging tuition in GCSE Maths, tailored to each student's learning needs.
- Plan structured lessons that support curriculum understanding, exam preparation, and academic success.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure complex mathematical concepts are accessible and clear.
- Adapt your approach for learners with SEN where required, creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to parents, carers, or education teams as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Maths.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to communicate concepts effectively and confidently.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- PGCE in Secondary Maths and/or Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience supporting students with SEN or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
