As a Material Planning Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring material availability for facility production. You will collaborate with suppliers to execute planned orders and schedules, resolve issues, and support facility production and point of use material availability. Your responsibilities will include aligning facility inventory accuracy and systems, planning parameters, and maintaining planning integrity. You will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and analysis of the Engineered Value Chain from Source of Supply to Facility Dock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize MRP and supplier collaboration technologies to plan material delivery for production and regulate inventory levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to the facility, coordinating delivery and shipping schedules with suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and improve point of use availability, applying root cause corrections where necessary.
- Monitor and track supplier performance metrics to support supply chain performance efforts.
- Deliver improvements in point of use material availability.
- Provide clear and accurate communication, both verbal and written, with all partners internally and externally.
