I am working with a University who are looking for an interim Market Insight Manager on a 6-month contract basis. This role will work closely with the Universities marketing team leveraging data analytics and insights to enhance marketing strategies and identify opportunities to increase student enrolment. This position is for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills capable of analysing the higher education landscape. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making that aligns with the university's student recruitment goals and objectives.
Role overview:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets related to student demographics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Utilise statistical tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Excel, SPSS) to conduct advanced data analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights on prospective student behaviour, preferences, and motivations.
- Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Design and implement surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies to gather actionable insights.
- Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop data-driven marketing plans that effectively target prospective students.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships to increase student enrolment.
