We have a selection of Primary schools in Thornton Cleveleys seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join their team as Supply Lunchtime Welfare Assistants. This is a great opportunity to support our students in a crucial part of their school day. Hours are 11-1pm Monday - Friday, pay is between £13.84 and £15 per hour, this role is term time only.

About the Role:

  • Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas.
  • Encouraging positive social interactions and play.
  • Assisting children with any needs they may have during lunchtime.
  • Supporting the smooth running of the lunchtime routine.
  • Promoting good behaviour and addressing any minor incidents in line with school policy.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of all children.
  • Clearing up spillages or minor messes.
  • Reporting any concerns or incidents to the designated staff member.
