We have an exciting opportunity for a proven Audio Visual Specialist to work on a brand new building for a prestigious client; and will involve a high degree of exposure, working with senior management teams to deliver real time AV services and service management to the client’s global AV estate. This role is in London, with support expected to be provided remotely for other sites with occasional on-site visits (including outside the UK). The client operates on agile working policy of 50 – 80% in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Technical management of the onsite AV systems globally
- First point of contact for L2 technical issues escalated by AV Technicians or IT/UC departments
- Work closely with the client’s global IT/UC/AV counterparts
- Deliver ongoing ‘best-practice’ training to in-house AV Technicians and Global IT support to ensure standards are being upheld in use of AV Equipment
- Perform and document AV Firmware & AV Software updates where necessary
- Build relationships with AV partners such as Crestron/Cisco and be aware of future updates
- Ensure Operational availability of all AV enabled meeting rooms and all other AV environments
- Incident management using ServiceNow
- Work with UC teams on new projects including global onsite deployments
- Assist the SDM and AV Operations Manager with technical elements of recruitment
- Assist Operations Manager to identify areas required for technical training and development for AV team
Job requirements Skills & experience:
- A deep technical understanding of digital and analogue audio and video signal processing standards and protocols
- Familiarity with audio-visual engineering disciplines associated with AV equipped meeting rooms and event spaces
- Proven industry experience in fields relating to technical management of AV environments
- Proven technical fault-finding experience, preferably demonstrated through a service desk or field service environment
- Possesses high quality communication skills, both verbal and written, and is capable of articulating information concisely
- Can communicate technical details with customers
- Calm and composed when working under pressure

- Has completed QSYS Level 1&2
- Knowledge of QSC Designer, Crestron Toolbox, Cisco Control Hub, Crestron NVX
- Has completed Crestron AV over IP/Working with XiO Cloud
- Experience in the use of incident management tools such as ServiceNow
