We are currently looking for a Housing Support Officer to work at a well established Housing Association in St Helen's!
Purpose of the Role: To assist the Support Manager in the running of the accommodation provision and provide an efficient housing support service to the residents as a member of the housing team.
Responsibilities:
- Housing Management and admin
- Resident support
- Maintenance
- Team work
- Ensure all files and records are kept up to date
- Check rent accounts, chasing up arrears and solving queries
- Conduct interviews of applicants
- Deal with complaints from residents
- Address breaches of tenancy by residents
- Empathise and support residents' feelings and attitudes
- Report any damages
- Support residents with exit strategies and assist when moving on
- Assist with external appointments for residents including GP appointments
Average 35 hours per week on a rota basis. All shifts are between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience within a similar setting is desirable
