Tripod Partners are looking for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with mental health experience to support services across Chertsey, Guildford, and Epsom. This is a shift-based role in inpatient mental health settings, providing essential care and support to service users as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and engagement in therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient behaviour or wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and clinical staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: Chertsey, Guildford, Epsom
  • Duration: Ongoing shift work
  • Hours: 07:00–19:30 (Days) / 19:00–07:30 (Nights)
  • Pay Rate:
  • Weekdays: £14.64 per hour
  • Nights & Saturdays: £19.34 per hour
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays: £23.14 per hour
  • Work Pattern: 7 days a week, flexible shifts
  • Requirements:

    • Previous experience working in a mental health setting (essential).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work 12.5-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
    • Current enhanced DBS (or willing to undergo one).
    • Right to work in the UK.
