A long-established UK-based chemical manufacturer is seeking a Process Chemist to join their Technical and Innovation team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in process development, optimisation, and scale-up. The role is ideal for someone with a degree in chemistry, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in chemical manufacturing.   Process Chemist Permanent Salary Dependent on experience Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm West Midlands   Process Chemist Job Description Assist in identifying and evaluating opportunities for process improvement. • Conduct lab experiments supporting process changes via HPLC, GC, and GC-MS analysis. • Support the scale-up of new products to full-scale production. • Analyse production data to drive continuous improvement. • Contribute to troubleshooting issues such as deviations or yield losses.   Process Chemist Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or related scientific discipline. • Strong interest in process development and manufacturing. • Understanding of chemical principles and reaction mechanisms. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.  Process Chemist Company Benefits 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Paid sick scheme Life assurance Health support scheme Stakeholder pension access    If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
