Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next contract role? A leading manufacturing business is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a 6-month contract, working inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods receiving inspection of mechanical components using standard inspection equipment.
  • Gauge calibration administration with external test houses and in-house pressure gauge calibration.
  • Special inspection services for specific customer requirements.
  • Paperwork generation to route components within the company.
  • Liaising with Purchasing & Suppliers to resolve component issues.
  • Problem-solving & technical support for the shop floor.
  • Providing QA function back-up during absences.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in goods-in/mechanical inspection.
  • Strong familiarity with CMM inspection.
  • Good secondary school education, ideally to A-Level standard.
  • Preferably a completed mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of mechanical components & machining processes.
  • Proficient in using manual inspection equipment.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Word & Excel for QA IT systems.

Location: On-site (Manufacturing Environment)

Contract Duration: 6 months (Inside IR35)
