We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our financial operations and help drive growth within the company. Role Overview: This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with flexibility. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a crucial part in our financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in our accounts. Key Responsibilities: * Managing sales and purchase ledgers using Sage Line 50 * Conducting trial balances and VAT duties, including submission to HMRC * Handling credit control duties to maintain financial health * Assisting with bookkeeping and general accounting tasks * Providing financial insights and reporting to support business decisions Requirements: * Proficiency in Sage Line 50 for sales and purchase ledger management * AAT Level 3 qualification * (or equivalent experience) * Strong understanding of VAT regulations and HMRC submissions * Experience in credit control and trial balances * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Why Join Us? * Flexible working hours to suit school schedules or similar * Opportunity for role expansion and career growth * Supportive and collaborative work environment The working week is over 5-days, ideally 4 hours per day – this could increase depending on the individual.
