If so, this could be the ideal role for you! The Role – Farm Assistant We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care of a variety of animals from hoof stock to reptiles and support pupils during farm-based sessions. You must have a minimum of 2 years' full-time experience in the animal care sector, strong knowledge of animal husbandry, and preferably an accredited Animal Care qualification. Experience working with children with SEN and challenging behaviour is essential, along with a good understanding of health & safety and risk assessments on a working farm. The School – SEMH All-Through School This all-through SEMH school supports boys aged 5–19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. The on-site farm is a key part of the school’s curriculum, offering therapeutic and practical learning experiences in a unique setting.
