Early Years Supply Teaching Assistant - September 2025 Start

Location: Primary Schools in Islington, London

Start Date: September 2025

Tradewind Education is seeking dedicated and flexible Early Years Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Islington area from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for early years professionals who are looking to work on a flexible, part-time basis in a variety of early years settings.

We are looking for candidates who can commit to at least three days per week and are available for on-call, day-to-day supply work.

Key Requirements:

  • A CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or recognised equivalent)
  • Experience working in Early Years (Nursery or Reception)
  • A caring and adaptable attitude, with a strong understanding of EYFS development
  • Willingness to work on a flexible, ad-hoc basis across different school environments
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Role Overview:

  • Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Working closely with classroom staff to create a positive and stimulating learning space
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support when required
  • Helping with routines, observations, and day-to-day tasks within the classroom
