ESOL Tutor

Are you a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping young minds thrive? If so, we have a very exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a tutor in Wigan. We are looking for ESOL Tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey. The ideal tutor will be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored & engaging lessons to vulnerable learners. This is a great opportunity to move away from the classroom environment and make a genuine difference in a learners life, ultimately aiming to get them placed in a school. Contract/Position Details: Location – Within the community or pupils' home Position – ESOL Tutor Start date – ASAP Duration – On going Contract type – Temporary Full-time/part-time – Part time Minimum rate of pay – From £25-£30 per hour Hours – During/ After school hoursExperience, Training and Qualifications: QTS or equivalent Possess UK classroom teaching experience Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role the potential tutor must: Hold the right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references
