Economic Development Consultant

I'm working with a Local Authority based in the East of England, who are looking a experienced Economic Development Professional. You will be working as part of a dedicated team to engage and work in partnership with a range of organisations to ensure that we have the best possible business support and inward investment offer, complimented by a skills infrastructure to nurture and develop businesses and their workforce. Attracting high quality jobs to the area, ensuring that the residents have the skills to take advantage of these opportunities. In this role you'll be leading the economic development function, delivering a New Economic Development Plan priorities including supporting the town centre economy working with UKSPF, LUF, Towns Deal and Future High Streets. You will be expected to engage with the stakeholders, project manage and ensure the projects are delivered within budget.
