KPI Recruiting are supporting with the recruitment of a Demand Management Analyst for one of our clients in the Irlam area.
You will take full ownership of a key customer account, with primary responsibility for forecasting both manufactured and purchased goods. This will involve analyzing historical sales data, identifying seasonal trends, and incorporating promotional plans to ensure accurate and timely demand planning. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and the confidence to work directly with customers, as well as cross-functionally across internal teams.
- Use customer EPOS and shipment history to produce accurate sales forecasts and plan these in SAP.
- Work collaboratively with the customer to agree promotional forecasts and challenge these where necessary.
- Run regular meetings with the customer and share updates on service level, supply risks and discuss any proposed changes to the forecasts.
- Maximise customer service level by troubleshooting supply issues and working with other departments to find solutions.
- Lead a weekly forecast meeting and use analysis to share proposed changes with commercial colleagues and agree these collaboratively.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the plan to help protect supply, manage stock levels and enable sales.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a high attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. It will be necessary to work cross-functionally and on occasion visit customers so good people management skills are crucial. A high level of competency in Excel is required and ideally the candidate will have previous demand management experience. Previous SAP experience would be an advantage as would working in an FMCG environment.
