Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of a Data and BI Manager role. In this hands-on role, you will lead the establishment of a new data practice within the organisation, integrating various enterprise data repositories into a cohesive technology architecture and policy framework.
Your responsibilities will include designing and executing the enterprise data strategy, ensuring it aligns with both current and future business needs. You will collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders at all levels to ensure the strategy and its implementation deliver value across the business. The company is undergoing a significant transformation, investing in hybrid cloud technologies and enterprise systems.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the overall data architecture and quality framework, enabling data-driven decision-making. You will champion data quality internally, assisting stakeholders with the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and management information reporting. You will also be responsible for corporate Business Intelligence (BI), establishing a BI and analytics centre of excellence, ensuring the quality of corporate BI reports, and ensuring all stakeholder self-reporting is based on a unified, accurate source of data.
Key Requirements:- Solid background in data and analytics architecture, including developing data management practices and data migration strategies.
- Ability to drive the advancement of data and analytics maturity by defining, assessing, and facilitating improvements.
- Familiarity with tools like PowerBI, Boomi, or IFS would be beneficial, though training will be provided.
