Coordinator – Direct Access Services Location: Southend-on-Sea Salary: £28,845 – £31,439 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work Contract: Full-time, Permanent Are you a dedicated and motivated professional with experience in frontline service coordination? The Role As a Coordinator, you will be at the heart of a dedicated team delivering direct access services to rough sleepers. Working closely with frontline staff, volunteers, and peer mentors, you will ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for those seeking accommodation. You'll collaborate with multi-agency partners to advocate for clients and facilitate pathways to longer-term housing. Why Join? Oversee assessments and move-on plans for new residents. Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, outreach teams, and social services. Lead team meetings and contribute to service improvements. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and housing management policies. Supervise staff, volunteers, and peer mentors, providing leadership and pastoral support.What We're Looking For: Experience in housing, homelessness, or social care services. Strong team leadership and coordination skills. Ability to manage multi-agency partnerships and advocate for clients. Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and case management systems.
