Our clients are a dynamic construction company seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both the construction industry and the financial processes associated with managing projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of projects by overseeing contracts, managing costs, ensuring compliance and meeting the extremely high standards expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee the management of multiple construction contracts, ensuring that the highest standards are adhered to.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with site managers and other stakeholders to ensure that contractual obligations are met, and the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Cost Management: Monitor the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs to ensure profitability.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to contracts, including changes in scope, delays, or legal disputes. Ensure all contracts are structured to minimize risk.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all contracts, change orders, amendments, and related documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, building codes, and industry standards throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and legal advisors to resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.
