Computing Lecturer

I am currently recruiting for a Computing Lecturer position with a key client of mine. Responsibilities for the role include ensuring students undertaking such courses engage with the modules, fulfil their potential in terms of achievement of learning outcomes and enjoy a high-quality student experience. You will also be required to design, develop, and produce learning and teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules for Computing. In this role you will be teaching Computing units from level 3 Foundation Degree level through to level 7 Master’s and have essential programming experience to work with students who are 18+ and are interested in getting into a career in Computing or Programming. You will need to be Master’s qualified with 2 years minimum UK HE teaching experience. In addition to a recognised teaching qualification including PGcert, HEA fellowships, PGCE or similar. If you don’t have a teaching qualification, then you will need to have an MA or MSc with 5 years of Higher Education teaching experience or a PhD and 2 years teaching experience with no teaching qualification. The successful applicant will receive a starting salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits and holiday package of 33 days per annum (incl. bank holidays).
