We are thrilled to be supporting a leading, UK wide business with their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst. This company is highly regarded and prides itself on providing a world class and individually tailored service. This role will be a fully remote, 6 month FTC to cover maternity leave. This position will give you the opportunity to get involved with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. As a key part of the commercial team, you will be liaising with non-financial stakeholders, improving processes and getting involved with multiple projects. You will be working in a fast-paced environment reporting into and working closely with the Finance Business Partners.
This 6 month FTC has an annual salary of up to £40,000.
Key Responsibilities:- Business partnering with Operational Managers.
- Supporting with budgets and forecasts - ensuring your specified area is working within budget.
- Providing analysis of variances - looking at opportunities and risks etc.
- Completing month end tasks.
- Assisting with review of financial controls and procedures.
- Supporting with pricing and analysing how changes will influence budget.
- Ad hoc site visits to investigate and analyse financial irregularities.
- Taking on ad hoc commercial and operational projects.
- Carrying out financial reporting for your specified area.
- Previous experience producing management accounts (budgets and forecasts) is essential.
- Ability to provide business partnering support with strong communication skills (confident, clear, and concise).
- Analytically minded and able to investigate queries for resolution.
- Proactive in driving operational and commercial improvements for the business.
- Ability to work independently and balance workload effectively.
- Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with confidence in findings.
- Annual salary up to £40,000.
