Join us as a Client Operations Funding Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in banking or treasury operations and reconciliation to join our business. We’ll look to you to produce and provide funding projections for Treasury and shared nostros across all currencies supported by the ring-fenced bank. You'll have the chance to liaise with colleagues across other teams and functions to facilitate continuous process improvements across the department. We're offering this role on a temporary basis until June 2026.
What you'll do:
- Working to tight funding deadlines, you’ll be providing and agreeing short-dated funding requirements for G11, emerging markets and minor currencies as well as positioning cash demands for collateral, repo and interest rate derivative activity.
- You’ll also be performing post-value analysis and identifying root causes of balances in breach of internal and external thresholds, and investigating and reconciling funding sweep entries and taking corrective action to clear breaks.
- We’ll look to you to validate and challenge account charges incurred as a result of positive and negative balances on Treasury and shared nostro, and make sure that all secondary nostro accounts and securities linked cash accounts are swept flat or within tolerance.
- Making sure that over account settlement accounts are appropriately funded and incorporated into funding projections.
- Assisting with system development testing to facilitate the timely release of new functionalities.
- Maintaining procedure manuals and daily process checklists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Recording KRIs and producing daily reporting to provide management visibility where needed.
- Working closely with the Treasury currency trading desk, middle office and settlements teams.

- We’re looking for someone with experience in banking or treasury operations and reconciliation.
- You’ll have an awareness of operational, liquidity, settlement and financial risks, coupled with an understanding of nostro accounts and investment bank products.
- You’ll also bring experience within the finance industry, preferably in an operations environment.
- An understanding of a risk and control environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy levels.
- The ability to prioritise your workload and multi-task in a deadline driven role.
