Our client is looking to recruit a Chartered Paraplanner to join their privately owned, independent financial planning business. The business works with private clients, charities and businesses providing independent financial planning and investment management to enable their financial objectives and aspirations. Due to the quality of their service, the business generates most of their new clients through word of mouth referrals. The company consists of 40 people.
In this role, you will be working with one of the founding partners as part of a pod model, consisting of yourself, a Junior Paraplanner and a dedicated Administrator. Therefore, benefiting from being part of a dedicated unit plus a wider team to share ideas and learn from. Their client bank includes a range of wealth types and at every stage of their financial journey from those starting to grow their assets, through to those drawing income or looking to pass their wealth to the next generation(s).
As a Chartered Paraplanner, you will be utilising your technical knowledge and experience to assist in creating bespoke investment portfolios, pensions and inheritance tax.
You will be joining a loyal team with very high staff retention, operating a flat structure with no glass ceiling. This vacancy is available due to the existing incumbent progressing internally.
Chartered Paraplanner Requirements- You must be Chartered qualified
- You must have 5+ years’ experience as a Paraplanner with excellent technical knowledge
- You must be self-motivated, with the ability to pick things up quickly
- You need to be confident in front of HNW & UHNW clients (you will attend some client meetings)
- Salary of £65,000 - £75,000 plus company benefits
- Ideally office based in their Central London premises, with potential for up to 2 days from home
- Highly collaborative environment, with regular team social activities and events
