CBT Therapist – £40,000-£49,000 – Chelmsford, Essex We are seeking a skilled and empathetic CBT Therapist to join our clients clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to clients presenting with a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering both one-to-one and group sessions and contributing to the ongoing development of our therapeutic programs. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and formulate appropriate CBT treatment plans. * Deliver structured, evidence-based CBT interventions to clients, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to best practice guidelines. * Manage a varied caseload, maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records. * Collaborate with other mental health professionals and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and coordinated care. * Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary. * Provide psychoeducation and practical coping strategies to clients to promote self-management and recovery. * Maintain professional and ethical standards in line with BACP/BABCP guidelines. * Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and CPD activities. * Contribute to service development, including the creation of resources and therapeutic materials. Essential Requirements: * Recognized qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). * Full membership and accreditation (or working towards accreditation) with BACP/BABCP. * Demonstrable experience in delivering structured CBT interventions in a clinical setting. * Excellent clinical assessment and case formulation skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical records and preparing reports. * Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management protocols. Desirable Requirements: * Experience working with specific client groups (e.g., children and young people, trauma, addiction). * Training in additional therapeutic modalities (e.g., ACT, DBT, EMDR). * Experience in delivering group therapy or workshops. * Digital therapy delivery experience (e.g., video/online therapy platforms).
