About the Business Development Executive

You will be part of a driven sales team in a fast-growing business and enjoy the challenge of developing sales of quality poultry and meat products into the Irish and British markets.

Key tasks:

  • Develop sales with new and existing customers within the Irish and British markets.
  • Assistance with meat and poultry development within the greater business, in addition to developing own accounts.
  • Arranging and attending customer/potential customer meetings.
  • Attending trade shows.
  • Achieving sales targets and profit margins, in line with company expectations.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including new clients and new products.

About You

This role will suit an individual who has excellent knowledge and experience of the British and Irish meat market. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Product knowledge of various meats, poultry and pork is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong network of wholesale contacts in the UK.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
