South Manchester £25,000 - £35,000 + Package
Our client is a well established contractor based in South Manchester with a valued reputation for their high end new build residential apartments across the Manchester area.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Providing support to the Commercial team and site, to ensure that records are taken and maintained, assisting in the procurement of subcontractors and the preparation of Main and Subcontract Valuations and Final Accounts.
- Assist in compiling Tender Packages and carrying out basic Subcontract Procurement.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained on-site.
- Demonstrate an understanding of measurement techniques in line with SMM7 and NRM2, and undertake basic measurement exercises.
- Possess awareness of construction techniques and preambles.
- Regularly walk the site to stay aware of ongoing activities and identify potential issues or concerns.
- Maintain a Work Experience Log.
- Pricing of Dayworks and other basic Variations.
- Help in the preparation and submission of Interim Valuations and Final Accounts.
- Assist with internal cost reporting, preparation of Cost Value (CV) reports, and forecasts.
- Check, agree, and certify basic Subcontractor Interim Valuations and Final Accounts.
- File correspondence and assist in setting up systems to organize project documentation.
- Ensure the Drawing Register is consistently maintained and updated.
- Support archiving efforts upon the completion of the contract.
- Work as an integral member of the site team.
- Provide commercial support to the operational team.
- Follow established Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
