Assistant Merchandiser

Market leading  retailer are seeking and Assistant Merchandiser to join their expanding company to assist the Merchandiser on a day-to-day basis through effective planning, managing the supply base, re-forecasting sales and intake and ensuring optimum range availability This role is perfect for a fashion graduate who has done an internship in a retailer or an enthusiastic MAA who is looking for fast track career progression in a rapidly expanding retailer. Responsibilities / Objectives: To manage the delivery schedule in line with stock and intake targets To work with the Buying team to manage the critical path To maintain good working relationships with internal and external suppliers To identify sales/stock opportunities and threats through line reporting and analysis To maintain accuracy of Line Cards to maximise the availability of core lines To support the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations To give support and direction to the Merchandise Administrator To deputise for the Merchandiser as required   Operating Environment: To operate in an open- and even-handed manner with all colleagues across the business.
