Successful applicants will be qualified to degree level in a relevant environmental science which is biased towards air quality and have some working experience in Air Quality Consultancy. You will join a team of enthusiastic and ambitious air and acoustic specialists and have access to a broad and prestigious client base with projects throughout the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

Experience
  • Background in Air Quality

Duties
  • Measurement surveys and reporting
  • Atmospheric dispersion modeling (ADMS, ADMS Roads, DMRB packages)
  • Baseline data collation
  • Liaising with consultants, engineers and architects
  • Writing high quality reports
  • Consulting with a variety of external bodies in order to complete air quality reports
  • Conducting desk-based studies to assess local air quality in the vicinity of proposed schemes and developments
  • Produce air quality reports and prepare proposals
  • Preparation of inputs for Environmental Statements
  • Conducting air quality impact assessments and monitoring programmes
  • Excel based data manipulation
  • GIS work
  • Technical report writing.
  • Travel to various sites.
  • Sound insulation testing and advice on remedial treatment
  • Undertaking noise assessment site visits all over the UK
