I am currently recruiting a Skilled Mechanical Assembly fitter for my client located in the Burnley area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer that specialises within a variety of sectors including Aerospace, Automation, mining, rail and many more.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 16:30pm - 02:45am

Pay: £22.96

If you have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent, that would be beneficial but it is not essential.

Role/Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical parts and systems in line with detailed engineering drawings.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Perform testing on parts.
  • Perform rework and modifications as needed, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with different departments such as quality, design and engineering.
