We require an experienced Asbestos Supervisor. Must have the necessary qualifications for this role. The Asbestos Supervisor will be ensuring the programme for asbestos surveys is delivered, ensuring any remedial actions are completed with the removal contractor in line with the asbestos management plans.
Further duties include:
- Provide weekly progress updates of all asbestos inspection and remedial works programmes against the approved property list.
- Arrange for informing relevant staff and clients of findings contained within asbestos reports and arranging for the removal, encapsulation and re-inspections as deemed necessary.
- Reviewing and approving completion documentation including waste notes, certificates of cleanliness and job completion packs.
- Review of statutory licenses, contractor accreditations and insurances.
Previous Experience:
- Experience of policy, project management, partnership development and/or service improvement work within an organisation providing frontline housing services.
- Significant experience in delivering asbestos management in a housing repairs and investment environment.
- Experience in managing contractors and external partners to ensure effective delivery of programmes.
Qualifications:
- P405 – Management of Asbestos in Buildings or equivalent as a minimum.
- NEBOSH General Certificate/Diploma.
- IOSH Membership (Tech/Grad/CMIOSH).
