Your Role:
- To support in the undertaking of New, Reactive or PPM tasking as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function within the Garrison whilst working towards a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship (attending college weekly).
- Support your mentor in all types of electrical repairs and installation work to the required standard and in line with any documentation provided.
- Ensure acceptable standards of productivity and workmanship are maintained in the execution of work.
- Ensuring the recording of all maintenance works when completed are posted through the appropriate equipment, systems and documentation as required by the Company Management System.
- Ensure that all areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.
- Operate in a safe working manner by adhering to Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice and safe working practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: GCSE’s Grade 4 / C must include English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Experience: A good level of IT literacy would be beneficial.
- Skills: A conscientious, punctual, reliable, professional, with a strong focus on customer service. Be proactive in problem-solving and decision-making, able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Able to demonstrate self-discipline, take initiative, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, always acting with professionalism and discretion.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required (or working towards passing test when of appropriate age).
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain MoD Security Clearance.
