A leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking for an Aerodynamicist. The successful candidate will contribute to the refinement of our patented Downforce-on-Demandâ„¢ system and work on maximizing aero efficiency for our record-breaking track vehicles.
The Aerodynamicist will:
- Drive aerodynamic development using CFD tools, wind tunnel experiments, and on-track validation.
- Design and refine aerodynamic components to enhance vehicle performance and efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration of aero solutions with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Interpret simulation and track test data to validate and improve aerodynamic concepts.
- Work closely with mechanical and vehicle dynamics teams to meet overall performance objectives.
The Aerodynamicist will have:
- A degree in Aerodynamics, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in motorsport or high-performance vehicle aerodynamics.
- Proficient in CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of active aerodynamics and related performance indicators.
- Hands-on experience with wind tunnel testing is highly desirable.
