Part-time - 25 hours per week - Ideally 5 days a week - 9.30am - 2.30pm. This is a newly created position to assist the Management Accountant with day to day accounts functions and providing information to support the efficient financial management of the business. This is a great family business that has recently been purchased and they are now investing in additional people to support their growth plans.
Day to day tasks include:
- Perform data entry tasks, sales daybook and purchases daybook, accurately and efficiently.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of cash / card transactions and supplier statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management packs by analysing data and identifying trends.
- Maintain organised records of transactions, invoices, and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support the accounts in processing payments and managing accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial data.
- Performing adhoc reports, reconciliations and other office duties when required.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide office telephone sales support where required.
- Assist with holiday cover when necessary.
