Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely school in Blackpool. You will be supporting pupils 1-1.
The Role:
- Communicating regularly with the SENCO and external agencies regarding progress and any necessary updates to EHCPs
- Positively and effectively managing behaviour with de-escalation techniques
- Building rapport with the pupil to establish a positive, professional relationship
Position Details:
- Location: Blackpool
- Position: 1-1 TA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting SEN within a school setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable
- Team Teach Training is highly desirable
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
