Job Title: Welfare Assistant Location: Enfield, London Contract Type: Long-term Supply Contract Pay Rate: £90-100 per day Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Assistant to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in London. This role involves providing essential care and support to children with a range of complex needs, ensuring their wellbeing and enabling them to thrive in a nurturing educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assistance to pupils with SEN. Support the emotional and physical wellbeing of students. Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents. Implement care plans and behaviour management strategies. Encourage and support pupils in their learning and social interactions.Person Specification: Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is desirable. Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children’s development. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Basic knowledge of safeguarding practices.
