Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Manufacturing client.
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Salary: up to £35,000 (DOE)
Duties:
- Management:
- Ensuring the warehouse is resourced to the required levels at all times
- Manage and cover the out of hours calls rota, ensure the rota is resourced correctly and fairly, and that all calls are reacted to within an hour, weekday evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Motivate and manage the teams to work effectively
- Attend and provide input on departmental and company meetings.
- Provide reports relating to KPI, stock, and processes when required.
- Manage unloading and processing of all incoming warehouse deliveries
- Ensure correct stock location, updating of inventory records, and paperwork passed to the correct departments
- Ensure all stock returns are documented correctly, and correct paperwork is created and processed credits.
- Ensure the customers are provided with the correct part numbers and records
- Ensure shipments are packed correctly so they do not get damaged
- Ensure the daily and full stock checking schedule is completed
- Keep the warehouse tidy and safe to work adhering to health and safety rules.
Requirements:
- Previous Warehouse management experience and managing a team
- Competency in MS Office applications
- Ability to cover the on call (must live within 45 mins of the location)
- Excellent communication skills
- Have confidence to check details of invoices
