We are looking for experienced Warehouse Shift Leaders to work within our established warehouse & distribution team in Larkhall. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be tasked with:
- Leading a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators to achieve the highest levels of despatch accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Providing effective supervision of the team directing work tasks and performance across all warehouse functions - accurate and efficient storage and distribution of goods, goods in, stock relocation, pallet pick and despatch.
- Managing individual attendance, timekeeping, breaks and holidays.
- Managing performance, identifying training needs and implementing ongoing development plans for all team members.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols adhered to with regards to property and mechanical handling equipment; escalating any issues to Warehouse Manager where necessary.
- Ensuring all warehouse procedures adhered to at all times.
- Ensuring the accurate and efficient despatch of goods on time and in full with required documentation provided at time of loading.
- Assisting internal and external customers with any queries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Implementing stock movements in alignment with FIFO principles.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the warehouse function for internal and external customers.
- Maintaining housekeeping to 5S standards.
