A food business in Derbyshire is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and working within food.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Warehouse Manager in managing a busy warehouse and dispatch operation.
- Develop and maintain an effective team structure to ensure staff skills and knowledge meet expected standards.
- Ensure KPIs are consistently achieved and reported weekly to the Warehouse Manager.
- Manage GMP, health and safety, and risk assessments as part of day-to-day operations.
- Prepare a monthly staff rota to ensure appropriate manning and staffing levels.
- Lead daily team meetings as required to communicate objectives and updates.
- Develop a training matrix and SMART plan for staff, ensuring all training progress is monitored effectively.
- Inspire and motivate warehouse operatives to meet operational targets.
