Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working hours: Monday to Friday, alternating shifts (7:30am - 3:30pm / 8:30am - 4:30pm)

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with FLT Counterbalance experience to join our clients growing team at a market-leading company in Leeds. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an integral part of our goods out section, responsible for preparing and dispatching manufactured components and parts. You will also liaise with couriers, load and unload waggons using a counterbalance forklift, and maintain accurate stock levels using our warehouse management system.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and despatch manufactured components and parts in the goods out section.
  • Liaise with couriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload waggons using a counterbalance forklift when required.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels using our warehouse management system.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Counterbalance Driver is essential (in-house and expired licences will be considered).
  • Computer literacy is necessary as this role involves data inputting (training will be provided for our bespoke software).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
