Our client is a successful and exciting company that is opening a Warehouse in the Netherlands and requires a Warehouse & Installation manager who is based in the Rotterdam area and fluent in Dutch and English. Our client is seeking a versatile Warehouse, Logistics, and Installation Assistant to join their dynamic team based in the Netherlands. This role involves working with luxury retail brands to manage assets and install graphics, pop-up sites, and window displays in prestigious stores across Europe.

Alongside the installation responsibilities, you will also be required to manage a safe and efficient warehouse, quality-checking goods, maintaining the warehouse database, and managing deliveries across Europe; ensuring all items are securely packed and documented. Reporting to managers in London, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects across the region while maintaining operational excellence and effective communication within a collaborative team environment.

CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE
  • Knowledge and experience using hand tools, battery-powered tools and basic installation equipment.
  • Practical understanding of personal and site Health and Safety protocols.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, including packaging goods.
  • Basic computer knowledge for administrative tasks.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
  • Possession of a valid European driver's license.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Certified counterbalance forklift operator preferred.
  • Fluent in the English Language and Dutch Language.
Warehouse:
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and optimise workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Keep all stored items organised and aligned to the warehouse database, including maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking the location of items within the warehouse, and ensuring that items are stored in a logical and accessible manner.
  • Handling the movement and storage of goods using a forklift, training could be provided.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and inspecting for any damage or discrepancies.
  • Preparing goods for outbound shipments or transfers, and coordinating logistics for timely deliveries or transfers to designated sites.
  • Documenting and ensuring items are properly packed according to specifications to prevent damage during storage.
  • Daily equipment check.
Logistics:
  • Coordinate the movement of goods to and from various locations across Europe, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including preparation of delivery notes or other necessary documentation.
  • Oversee the packing and palletising of goods to ensure they are transported safely and securely.
Installation:
  • Installing works to the highest of standards across the EU.
  • Collaborating with project managers or teams to understand job requirements and specifications and communicating whilst on site.
  • Adhering to established codes of conduct or ethical standards relevant to the installation industry - separate document to be provided.

These roles are interconnected in the process of managing goods from receipt to storage, dispatch, and installation, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction across the supply chain.

MAIN DUTIES:
  • Installation of graphics and build in a luxury retail environment.
  • Package and prepare jobs for dispatch or installation.
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift and conduct daily equipment checklists.
  • Assist with stock bookings, deliveries, and storage placements.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Provide feedback and reports on completed installations and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to achieve project goals.
