We are currently working closely with Cheshire East Council to help find specialist SEND intervention teaching for young people in the area with SEND who are unable to attend school. This may be due to inability to access the provision they are on roll at or they have not been allocated a setting that meets their specific needs.
We are looking for educators who can work either between 09.30am – 12.30pm or 1pm – 4pm providing bespoke 121 teaching to students aged between KS1 – Post 16. We have full time and part time contracts that can work flexibly around you.
To apply for this job, you must have an excellent knowledge of SEND and the national curriculum. We are looking for flexible, dedicated and driven educators who are passionate about helping young people.
As a Tutor you will require the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 6 months experience within an educational environment
- Experience working with pupils on a 1-1 basis
- A passion for making a difference to young people’s learning
- Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions
- Understanding and appreciation of working with vulnerable young people in the care system and those with SEND
