Trade Counter Assistant

Temperate Heating Ltd is an established independent plumbing and heating merchant, proudly serving both trade and retail customers with a high level of service for over 50 years. We're known for our knowledgeable staff, quality products, and commitment to building lasting customer relationships. We’re now looking for a friendly, proactive, and organised Trade Counter Assistant to join our growing team. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Serve customers at the trade counter, offering advice and upselling where appropriate. * Build quotes and manage trade accounts. * Provide accurate product and technical information. * Process orders in person, over the phone, and via email. * Keep stock areas, displays, and the trade counter well-organised and presentable. * Build and maintain strong relationships with regular trade customers. ✅ What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in a trade counter or similar customer-facing role. * Confident communicator with great people skills and a positive attitude. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * A proactive, hardworking team player. * Knowledge of plumbing materials is a plus!
