Key Responsibilities for Tax Senior Manager: Management, preparation on and submission of personal and corporate tax return compliance cycles. Respond to client queries by email and telephone call in relation to tax issues that arise in their business or personal affairs. Support our tax partner in communicating tax planning with clients through written tax advice on ad-hoc assignments. Support our VFO team (virtual finance office) with tax queries relating to monthly management accounts. Liaise with the financial mastery partner to provide clients with integrated tax and business advice. Support the tax partner in delivery of advisory services to clients through the delivery of our tax on health checks and pre-year end meetings. Support our Payroll Manager (payroll reviews, technical queries from clients, holiday cover). Maintain expert level technical tax knowledge. Demonstrate strong professional standards and ethics with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast changing, busy environment. Deliver the success factors within your personal Ascentis business plan. Qualifications and Skills for Tax Senior Manager: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with strong experience of dealing with clients directly regarding tax affairs. Lead, manage and develop a positive team spirit, and demonstrate a high-performance culture. Work across the business as part of a management team, collaborating with both the Leadership team, the wider organization, and clients. Ability to absorb large quantities of statistical and written material, spotting trends in data. Come from a practice background. Be a qualified tax adviser (as a minimum holding the ATT qualification but preferably be CTA qualified) with a minimum of 3 years Post Qualified Experience. Previous experience in Big 4 or top 10 accounting practices is desirable. Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (28 days holiday plus statutory holidays) – Hybrid working; combining flexible working patterns of working in the Office/Home to accommodate business and personal circumstances. – Live within the wider Leeds/Bradford/Harrogate area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
