Are you looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to be part of the team in a unique and different kind of nursery, where you can use your Spanish as well as develop your skills and training? We are looking for a Spanish speaking level 3 qualified Childcare Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive team at an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ day nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue and develop your childcare career within a bilingual English and Spanish setting which provides children with a unique opportunity to learn both languages and benefit from all the advantages of being in a bilingual environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily routine of the nursery
  • Assist in the planning and implementing of age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
  • Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with
  • Observe, support and extend key children's learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

  • A level 3 Childcare diploma (Ofsted recognised) is a requirement for this role, however consideration may be given to a strong level 2 qualified candidate
  • Paediatric First Aid

  • 2 satisfactory references
  • Must be able to speak fluent Spanish

Schedule: Full time Monday to Friday (part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate)
