Freelance Site Manager – Retail Warehouse Unit Refurb
Location – Central London – EC4N
Day Rate – (Apply online only)/day
Duration – 6 weeks

About the company
You will be working for an award-winning turnkey fit-out & refurbishment specialist working on projects across the UK. Due to a busy pipeline for 2025, there is a very strong chance of ongoing work throughout the year.

About the role
You will be leading and managing an on-site team of suppliers and subcontractors to deliver a high-quality project safely and in alignment with the project programme, client specifications & budgeted costs. This will be on a Retail Warehouse Unit involving fit-out and refurbishment works.

Day-to-day duties will consist of:

  1. Liaising with Project Manager & Project Co-Ordinator
  2. Driving a consistent & proactive approach to health & safety on site
  3. Manage hazards & risks
  4. Ensure all contractors & visitors are thoroughly inducted onto sites
  5. Monitor progress of project programme, minimising risks
  6. Building an understanding of the project budgets to drive efficiencies
  7. Oversee contractor performance

About you
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in fit-out and refurbishment within the retail/industrial/commercial sectors. Ideally, you will have a trade background and a good eye for detail.

You will also need the following certifications:

  1. SMSTS
  2. CSCS Black/Gold/White
  3. First Aid
  4. Asbestos Awareness
  5. Fire Marshal
