I am excited to partner with a leading manufacturing company who are based in Sevenoaks, Kent. Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful Shift Mechanical Engineer will be working on a panama shift pattern and will be responsible for all reactive and preventative mechanical maintenance on site. This is an excellent opportunity for an ex-military engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to join a growing business. Please note, this is working on panama shift pattern, consisting of days, nights and weekend working. In return you will receive an attractive starting salary and additional shift allowance, interested candidates are encouraged to make an early application.
Shift Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 – mechanical engineering bias.
- Experience of working with heavy plant and machinery.
- Proven experience of working in a maintenance environment.
- Hands on experience in welding, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Safety conscious with proficient of health and safety regulations.
- Self-motivated, innovative approach with a can-do attitude.
- IT Literate.
