My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Design Team. It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status. It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects. Applicants should have experience completing calculations and detailed designs for: Pumping Stations Combined Sewerage Overflow Pipe Lines Pressure Pipes Water Retaining Structures Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants Additionally, experience in Hydraulic Modelling to develop innovative solutions for Sewerage Projects is essential. It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Infodrainage. Typically, the role will involve the following: Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects. Detailed Civil Engineering Design including the design of Pumping Stations, Water and Waste Water Treatment Works, and Water Retaining Structures. Detailed Design of Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes, and Combined Sewerage Overflows using Civils 3D and Infodrainage. Shaft tank design. Calculations and Reports. Mentoring Junior Team Members.
