Senior Engineer – £105M Student Accommodation Scheme – Holborn, London A leading Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team on a major new build student accommodation scheme located in Holborn, Central London. The project, valued at £105 million, will comprise 669 units across 13 storeys and is set to commence in June 2025. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all engineering activities on-site, ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications, quality standards, and program. * Set out and survey works, ensuring accurate execution and compliance with design drawings and relevant standards. * Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and subcontractors. * Coordinate with the design and construction teams to resolve technical issues and support the project delivery. * Maintain accurate site records including quality inspections, as-builts, and technical documentation. * Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site. * Assist in the preparation of progress reports, temporary works designs, and method statements. Requirements: * Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in a Senior Engineer role on large-scale RC frame or high-rise residential/commercial projects. * Strong knowledge of temporary works, setting out, quality control, and HSE procedures. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Previous experience on student accommodation or multi-unit residential schemes is advantageous.
