Permanent Role Based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire
Salary: £34-42k dependant on experience
HOURS: 40 hr week plus on call rota. Hours Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.

Our client is an established security solutions provider with a portfolio of government, commercial and private clients. Based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire they have the ideal business model to serve customers with a range of customised security solutions. Our core business is the installation, repairs and maintenance of systems including access control, door entry, CCTV, intruder alarms.
We are seeking to recruit a Security Installation & Maintenance Engineer to help and improve the efficiency and growth of a small expanding business. Our client is a family orientated business with a team of enthusiastic engineers looking to obtain opportunity and career expansion.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out maintenance/service visits to our range of clients which includes local authorities, housing associations, universities and commercial locations. You will also be required to carry out systems installations, including Intruder alarms, Access Control, Door Entry, CCTV. Extra support is available at all times and in house training will be provided as and when needed.
The ideal candidate will have an open attitude towards new tasks and challenges and not be afraid to ask questions. In return our client is able to offer a dynamic role encompassing a variety of aspects of the company. The nature of the business means you will not be doing the same thing every day and your role will be fluid and vary with fresh challenges at every corner.
The successful candidate will also be required to join the emergency call out rota which is typically one week in four. Successful applicants will have to undergo specialised direct vetting by Hertfordshire Constabulary due to the nature of the industry. Applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes for the company van.
Main disciplines ideally required: Intruder/ Security Alarms/ Access Control/ Door Entry/CCTV preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for disciplines you may lack key skills in.
